About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Heritage Café website. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
Website information
We aim to keep information accurate and up to date, however menus, prices, trading hours, and availability may change without notice. Images are for illustrative purposes and may not always reflect the exact final presentation.
Bookings and enquiries
Submitting a form on this website is a request only. A booking is only confirmed once:
- Heritage Café has confirmed availability in writing, and
- where applicable, the required deposit has been paid.
For private events, additional terms may apply including venue hire pricing, catering selections, décor options, bar arrangements, and cancellation policy.
Private event décor and packages
Décor packages are examples and can be customised to suit taste and budget. Décor packages may vary from the photos shown.
Corkage and beverages for private events
Where applicable to your event booking:
- Corkage is charged at R40 per bottle for wine or champagne.
- No other beverages may be brought into the venue.
- Heritage Café may operate a cash bar for events.
Cancellation Policy for Private Events
Please note, the cancellation policy applies only to clients who have paid venue rental in full.
Refunds are calculated based on how far in advance the cancellation is requested, relative to the function date:
- 1 year or more before the function date… 90% refund of the deposit
- 6 months before the function date… 50% refund of the deposit
- 6 to 4 months before the function date… 35% refund of the deposit
- 3 months or less before the function date… 25% refund of the deposit
- 2 months or less before the function date… no refund
A private event booking is only confirmed once Heritage Café has approved the request and the required deposit has been paid.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, belongs to Heritage Café or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorised access to any part of the website.

Limitation of liability
